WinPicks Reference Manual

Section 10.2. Changing the Data Directory

You can change the WinPicks data directory (folder) using DATA DIRECTORY. The data directory is the place where WinPicks stores its database and prediction formula files.

When you install WinPicks, it automatically creates a data directory. To change the data directory, you must first create the new directory on your disk. Then, copy all of the files from the old data directory into the new one. When you run WinPicks, select DATA DIRECTORY from the EDIT menu and choose the name of the new data directory. WinPicks will then reload the data files from their new location.

If you can't remember where your data directory is, click the START SEARCH button. This button will search all of the directories on your system, and lists those that contain WinPicks data.
